Exploratory Play

Children are naturally curious and like to seek out new experiences and adventures.

                                                                                                                                             Examples of exploratory play are:

                            Taking things apart

Exploring places

Trial and error is a very powerful way of learning for everyone!

Going exploring does’nt need to be a massive undertaking, your own back garden or local park can provide plenty of things.

If its a wet day turna bathtime into lots of fun giving the oppotunity to play with water, floating, sinking different things and seeing how much water fits in different shaped containers… all simple things to do but so much fun to a child!!
